My meeting with Khaled Jabasini

My meeting with the Great Jordanian Entrepreneur & 1st Arab Internet Millionaire: Khaled Jabasini, A success story deserves mentioning

kjs

I was lucky to meet this great guy in the Social Media Forum during my business trip to Dubai & Abu Dhabi, he achieved a great success that really makes him a great model for all of Arab entrepreneurs, Khaled Jabasini, the 1st Internet Millionaire in the Arab world after selling his company e-Marketing MENA to Maktoob group by 20 million dollars before the Maktoob-Yahoo deal.

He worked since 1993 in many unique industries such like: 2D & 3D Animation, Film Production, Web design & development & more, in many countries such like: Jordan, Saudi Arabia & Qatar.

In 2000 he joined Maktoob team & was the founder of Saudi Arabia branch, and the Director of Advertising in that time, and then he moved to NetAdvantage  Online advertising company in Saudi Arabia too.

He started the dream in 2005: e-Marketing MENA was launched to change the meaning of online advertising in the Arab world regarding the publishers, the audience & the spent of advertisers.

e-Marketing MENA, was acquired by maktoob group which became Jabbar internet group now and they re-branded it to iKoo.

Best part that I loved about  my discussion with Khaled is how he had that goal of helping webmasters & publishers to get a profit that can help them continue & grow which means improving the Arabic eb content on the long term, and as we see that what really happened :)

I would also love to admit that in spite that Khaled is a millionaire, he is generous, up to the ground, a family loving guy, a business professional & a man with a creative mind :)

You can soon communicate with him through: http://www.khaledjabasini.com

i don’t know why the local and arabic journals ignore such success stories, thank god this is not the case with the people-driven social media,
such stories gives us (the young generation) big hopes and ambitions for the future :)
